I grew up in Delaware, Ohio, graduating from Delaware Hayes High School in 1984.  I attended the University of Cincinnati, graduating in 1988 magna cum laude with high honors and went on to law school at the Ohio State University.  After my graduation in 1991, I joined my father, Thomas C. Clark in the practice of law in my hometown.

Community service has always been important to me.  I have served on the board of Delaware Area Recovery Resources (now known as Recovery and Prevention Resources), I am a past board member and president of Andrews House and I am currently a member of the Delaware County Board of Mental Retardation and Developmental Disabilities.  For thirteen years I worked with teens as a counselor for the Delaware Ecumenical Senior High Youth Group.

In 1991, I was lucky enough to marry Dr. Anna M. Travis and we have a son and a daughter.
